Cute Friends and STUCK!

Yesterday, I left out the card table from when I used it the night before for some projects I am working on. While I was doing dishes I noticed Ben and Emmy laying on the top just giggling with each other. It was so cute to see how content and happy they were to be with each other side by side doing nothing. It reminds me of the saying, "take joy in the simple things."

They love each other so much! They think that it is so silly when they switch places and ride in each other's car seats, or sleep in each other's crib. There is definitely something special and unique about twins.

I was so bummed the pictures I took ended up a little fuzzy. What can I say, that Ben Boo just won't hold still. The pictures were so cute, I couldn't help but share. Excuse the crazy hair, their hair wasn't combed yet for the day.

STUCK
I checked my email after dinner yesterday. The kids were still eating dinner and Brandon was still there with them. All of the sudden I hear Ben screaming and Brandon yelling,"Natalie, come quick!" When I go there he told me to go and grab the tweezers. When I found the tweezers and brought them to Brandon, he went on to tell me that he thinks that Ben stuck something up his nose.

It was if on cue that Ben started crying again saying, "momma, owie" while pointing to his nose. After a few attempts of trying to get the object out with the tweezers, we had no success and then tried to have Ben blow his nose. That didn't work either. Brandon then went to find a pair of smaller tweezers. The smaller tweezers were able to get the mysterious object out his nose. It was a piece of corn. Ben felt a lot better after the piece of corn was removed and after a few hugs and kisses he was ready to play with "Hyra."

Ben and Emmy are just so stinkin' cute!

And luckily no one in our house has tried to shove anything up their nose (knock on wood). I'm glad yours was fairly easy to take care of!

Ha! I'm glad I'm not the only one. Our darn little toddlers huh? I'm glad you got it out though and saved yourself a trip to the emergency room!
