"Look mom! It's pooh!"

Brandon and I still attend a married student ward where Hyrum is the only child in the ward who is over the age of one. Anyways, I brought some dried fruit for him for a snack to have during Sacrament metting. He took one look at it and instantly said very loud, "Look mom, it's pooh!" Then he took a bite of the fruit and said, "mmm, good!" It was really funny! Everyone who were sitting by us were laughing out of control. I must say he is constantly making me laugh by the amusing and charming things he says.

Emmy's Owie!

Hyrum really loves his siblings and sometimes shows it just a little too much. See the picture below. That mark on Emmy's head is not a birth mark. It is a rug burn! Hyrum loves to play with the babies and the other day he got a little carried away. While I was changing Ben he was playing with Emmy and drug her from our living room to the twin's room. Emily loved it! However, a big mark on her head was left after the fun (the picture was taken a few days after the event).

Here is a close up!

Ben's Surgery!

Last week, we went up to Primary Children's Hospital for Ben to have a surgery on his male part. Everything went really well.I was so proud of myself that I didn't cry when the doctor wheeled him back. I will admit I did get really teary eyed. He was so cute. After he woke up from his surgery they invited one parent to go back and be with him. I went and when I saw him he was just smiling and kicking his legs. The nurses said Ben was quite the flirt (giving them a loopy smile) and couldn't get over how cute he was (I do admit he is pretty cute). He has had a great recovery. I expected him to be more needy and made be a little cranky. However, he was his typical happy and cute self. We go back to the doctor in a couple of weeks for a follow-up, but he appears to be doing great! The Morning Of

Graduation!

I am so proud of Brandon! He recently graduated from the BYU with a degree in Biochemistry. He has worked so hard and finally he graduated. Brandon's parents were able to come up from Texas and his sister Lorri and her family was able to be with us as well. Once again, I love my cute hubby and I am so proud of him for this great accomplishment!

PROM!!

My little sister was able to go to PROM this year and she looked beautiful!! It was fun being there while she was being picked up for her date. It is a good thing we were there since Brandon ended up pinning on the boutonniere. Camille is gorgeous, talented and I love her!

What a beautiful day!

After last week being filled with spring rainshowers, this week has been absolutely wonderful. Today, I put all three kids in the stroller (yes, all three) and went up to campus to meet Brandon at the duck pond. We had such a great time together. We had lunch, watched/chase the ducks and played with rocks and sticks in the dirt. In Hyrum's words a perfect day!

Both in the seat together

Hyrum loves his dad! What a cute family!

Aren't we cute?!

6 month appointment and First Cereal!

The babies recently had their 6 month appointment. The doctor is very pleased with how they are doing. Ben came in weighing 15 lbs 12 1/2 oz and 26 1/2 inches long. He has tripled his birth weight and has grown about ten inches!! The princess came in at 14 lbs 1.5 oz and 24 1/2 inches long. They are getting so big I can't believe it.
The doctor said that they are old enough that we could start them on some cereal. We thought that since Hyrum wasn't a big fan of rice cereal that we would start with some baby oatmeal instead. They did not like it at all! They were quite offended! Their faces were priceless. They were constantly trying to get their hands in their mouth instead of the spoon. It was so funny!
This is awful!

You are giving this to me again!

The ExerSaucer's Madien Voage!

On my birthday (April 11) I decided that it was time to wip out the exersaucer for some new entertainment for Ben and Emily. When we first got it out I started to clean and sanitize it. I used some of those colorox wipes. Since I was cleaning it, of course Hyrum had to help. He took his job very seriously.

The babies seemed fasinated by it. I think they are still a little small to fully sit-up and reach the toys and fully enjoy it. However, Hyrum helped them out showing them what everything can do. The babies enjoyed the exersaucer for a little bit, but after awhile they wanted out!

A Week of Birthdays!

As many of you know; Brandon and I are four days shy of being three years apart. My birthday is April 11th and Brandon's is April 15th. We had a great time celebrating our birthdays.

I personally couldn't have asked for a better birthday!
For my birthday it started out with Brandon making a wonderful meal of German Pancakes (with Hyrum's help of course) which is one of my favorite foods. I personally like it with jamb and syrup. Next, I received a boquet of beautiful flowers from my in-laws. Which was very thoughtful and kind of them.
My dad came and joined me for lunch and brought Chinese food. To top it off Brandon and I went to Dinner at Tucanos. It was very yummy!
For my birthday Brandon gave me this beautiful homeade book that had pictures of the Twins. He is such a thoughtful husband and I really loved his gift.

For Brandon's birthday he got a very expensive suit that he has been using for his interviews for optometry school. I also put together a small video for him that you can watch I also threw him a small suprise birthday party for him. It started out with a scavenger hunt that led back to our house were a few of our friends were waiting. You should have seen the look on his face when he came through the door. He said he almost left a little puddle in the spot he had been standing.

We had a great time playing games and eating marvelous cupcakes our friends the Ames had made. They put a lot of time and effort into making them. Each cupcake had something about Brandon. For example, one had a missionary tag, another a tent for camping, a big eye for optometry, Texas etc. There was also one for each member of our family. As soon as I get some pictures from our friends I will post them (our camera's memory was full the night of the party and so I had no room for pictures). The first picture is the cupcake of Brandon and the second is the cupcake of Emiliy.

On his actual birthday we went to my parents house for a marvelous dinner of Shishkabobs and a lovely Danish Dessert.

We had great birthdays! Thanks to all of you who helped make it special!
