A Little Homesick

Hyrum has been a little homesick for Utah lately; especially for his Papa and Grandma B.

The other day I was asking him what movie he wanted to watch. I gave him the option of watching one of his favorites, Toy Story 2. he told me no. He was waiting to watch that movie with papa when he gets to Utah.

One night recently he decided that he wanted to talk to Grandma and Papa B. before he went to bed. He was so upset when we couldn't get a hold of them. He was worried that he lost two of his favorite people in the world.

The other day Hyrum was playing with his mega blocks and made an airplane to fly to Utah on.
Last night, he made Utah with his wooden blocks.
Also, I can't forget to mention that he sleeps with a picture of him, Camille and Papa and a picture of Jesus.

We are going to Texas and Utah the end of June and staying until the end of July. I think Hyrum will have a blast seeing his Grandma and Papa T. and his Grandma and Papa B. Not to mention he will be in heaven playing with his cousins. We are all looking forward to the trip.

Doesn't that just break your heart! I am honestly fine with not living close to family, but I feel so bad for Brooke. Just like Hyrum, she is constantly asking to go to grandma's house and I hate that we're so far away. That's great that you have a trip coming up, I'm sure you will all have a blast!

That is so cute. I love that he loves his grandma and papa so much!! I hope you have a fun trip. Any plans for the 4th of July in Blanding? There is no place like Blanding to celebrate the 4th of July. My kids talk about it all year long!

Awww that is so sweet. Tyson followed his Papa around all weekend when we visited them. Boys and their grandpas- so cute. Welcome to Texas! It's a wonderful place to be even though it's extremely hot right now.
