Happy Easter!

I just wanted to take a quick moment on this rainy Easter Sunday to talk about this wonderful time of the year.

This time of the year is dear to my heart. During both of my pregnancies I have been very sick. Also, during both of my pregnancies I was the sickest during spring time. It was during those difficult months of my pregnancy that I have felt the closest to my Savior and have felt the love that he has for me, and the miracle of the atonement.

Another reason this Easter season has been so special is the fact that I had the opportunity to sing in the ward choir. The arrangement of music was beautiful! The words so meaningful and sweet. We may not have been the best choir, but there was a tender, sweet spirit in the room at least for me.

Last, but definitely not least, it just so happened that in my scripture study I am reading in 3rd Nephi of the Book of Mormon right now. What a wonderful time to be reading the story of the atonement and resurrection and of the love the Savior had for the people in the American continent.
We had a great Easter Sunday. My parents are here to visit, the kids were crazy as usual, but my heart is full of the love of my family and the love that my Savior, Jesus Christ, has for me.
